Dr Tharshiny Pankaj and Regent Global Group are committed to ensuring that this website is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability, disability, or technology. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards.

This website has been designed and developed with the following accessibility features:

Navigation

  • The mobile navigation menu includes focus trapping and can be closed with the Escape key

Visual Design

  • All colour combinations meet WCAG AA contrast requirements (minimum 4.5:1 for normal text)
  • Focus indicators are clearly visible with a 2px gold outline and 2px offset
  • Text can be resized up to 200% without loss of content or functionality
  • No content relies solely on colour to convey information

Content

  • Semantic HTML elements are used throughout (header, main, nav, section, footer)
  • All images include appropriate alternative text descriptions
  • Decorative images are marked with empty alt attributes or aria-hidden
  • Headings follow a logical hierarchy (H1 → H2 → H3)
  • Page titles are descriptive and unique

Interactive Elements

  • All interactive elements are accessible via keyboard
  • The cookie consent banner uses appropriate ARIA roles and labels
  • YouTube videos use a click-to-load pattern, reducing unnecessary media loading
  • External links are clearly identified and open in new tabs

Motion and Animation

  • All animations respect the prefers-reduced-motion media query
  • Users who prefer reduced motion will see no scroll-triggered animations
  • No content uses continuous animation loops that cannot be paused

3. Known Limitations

While we strive for full accessibility, some areas may have limitations:

  • Third-party embedded content (YouTube videos) may not fully meet accessibility standards
  • Some older PDF documents linked from external sources may not be fully accessible
